Just a simple question, in these two statements
E = cv::findEssentialMat(
points1, points2, focal, pp, cv::RANSAC, 0.999, 1.0, mask);
cv::recoverPose(E, points1, points2, R, t, focal, pp, mask);
Is the rotation and translation calculated from points1 to points2 or points2 to points1?

Feature Extraction using PCA in opencv 3.0 c++
I'm new to opencv 3.0 and I need help .
[ Using PCA module to extract the features from contour of image.(feature extraction)]
All images of the training set are stored in a single matrix T, where each column of the matrix is an image.
I Need to subtract the mean.-The average image a has to be calculated and then subtracted from each original image in T.
I need to calculate the eigenvectors and eigenvalues of the covariance matrix S.
Firstly I need to do the covariance matrix of data,then calculate the eigenvectors and eigenvalues from the covariance matrix!
What is missing in the code ?

Unexpected result with RGB Histogram Backprojection
I noticed that when I apply cv2.calcBackProject on the pixel [b,v,r], it returns the backprojection on the pixel [b,v,0], the third channel's value is ignored while my histogram looks fine.
Here is my code :
channels=[0,1,2]
histSize = [8,8,8]
ranges=[0,256, 0,256, 0,256]

Why MORPH_ELLIPSE kernel is slower than MORPH_RECT and others?
I was doing some dilation and erosion operations and noticed that MORPH_ELLIPSE kernel takes much more time than MORPH_RECT and MORPH_CROSS kernel. A similar question and finding is also posted in StackOverflow [here](http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31025368/erode-is-too-slow-opencv).
Can somebody tell why this is so?
