Cows are flying by, there is a witch on a broom cackling at you and you can see Dorothy's house being flung through the air, Yes, you're in the middle of a tornado! Now how do you get out alive?
The movie started the cult movement, but the novel is better. Even if you've seen Blade Runner, I still recommend reading the novel. I watched the movie first and was thrilled to find more story, more character development, and more description and "deleted scenes" in Phillip K. Dick's novel. The main character, Rick Deckard, is a bounty hunter who tracks and "retires" rogue replicants (androids). The story is classic Phillip K. Dick with a wild, cyberpunk, futuristic world that was just beginning to show up in fiction and film. To my knowledge, the term "blade runner" was never used in the novel.
At the same time, "being as good as your word" or "hailed as the mightiest in the land" used to be archaic. But what about those traits in regards to reputation and branding have changed today? Well nothing at all, really.
A tragic tale of a man (theEnglish patient) burned during a plane crash in World War II and the nurse left to care for him. The story takes place as the nurse, the English patient, a thief, and an Indian from the British Army live out the end of the war in an Italian villa.
It was necessary for God to first identify Israel today (the so-called lost 10 Tribes) so the Church could deliver His message to them, preserved by the Prophets for our time. We're to warn the sinful Israelite nations that the Holocaust was only a preview of what's to come! Many different groups and organizations (for better and for worse) have helped to restore Israel's identity. But Herbert W. Armstrong was the most influential, through his inspiring book The United States and Britain in Prophecy, as God ordained (Isa. 49:6). How else could we go with the Gospel to the "lost sheep of the House of Israel" unless God directed us? How could we warn about the imminent "Time of Jacob's Trouble" unless God sent us?
I know it is a cliche, but without it the relationship will not work. Many people forget how vital this element is in any relationship. Trust is not only associated with loyalty or infidelity. It is all the meaning associated with the word: honesty, compliance, value. Trust is a vital plant wall skill. From an early age we learn the importance of trusting. We also learn the lessons when we erroneously put too much trust in someone. Trust with a loved one is a relationship of reliance. It's a one-time agreement between you and your loved one. In good relationships, their trust is seen as full disclosure. There are no games or deceit. There is no conditional trust between them. It is there, it is tangible and in a good relationship, it is protected.
Our lives are too hectic. Our intuition talks in a quiet re-assuring voice, it will never shout at us. It is there for when we want to listen but it is always there whether we chose to listen or not. So, when we are surrounded by noise or activity it is difficult to listen.
If you have a debt problem, you need to sit down and look at your finances. List your income and your bills. Develop a budget. You will have to cut some of your expenses. You may even need to find a second job.
